The Nomination Process

In order to vote in this nomination, you must have been a member in good standing of Alberta’s NDP 14 days before the nomination voting day (August 31 2022 cut off) and reside in the constituency. You may join the party or renew your membership here.

Voting options are:

1) attending the nomination meeting and casting your vote after candidate speeches at the appointed time;
2) dropping into the nomination meeting to pre-vote during registration (beginning at 6:30 pm) until the beginning of candidate speeches at which point voting may only occur via the regular process so as not to disrupt the program;
3) members who have significant mobility, health or transportation barriers to accessing the meeting or who are isolating due to COVID may request a ballot be brought to their home in the morning or afternoon of voting day by making arrangements with Party Organizer, Karlie Hanoski, at khanoski@albertandp.ca or call/text 416-677-5234. Requests for these arrangements must be received no later than Monday September 12 at 5pm.
